Gardening

We spent the morning outside, gardening, mowing, and then killing everything in the yard (hopefully at least...we try to every other month so we can let Colin play without worry of various Texas biters and stingers). The yard is doing rather well despite water restrictions and the vegetable garden is looking good too. Here are some pictures (please disregard the fact that I should weed more often ~ I am hoping to use child labor for that before too long!).

The crepe myrtle just started blooming last week too. I love the red and yellow here in the corner of the garden.
