Back Home!

We met Courtney and Ryleigh at the open air mall today to help ease Colin into Gma/Gpa detox. We shopped and the kids played in the playground! Fun!

Few more Christmas pics

Just got a couple from mom that I thought should go on. :)

Eating blueberry pancakes. He ate an entire one! Pig!
One of his first trips down the slide at mom and dad's. He loved this thing!
Sneaking Chex mix with Aunt Katelyn!

Colin "Walking"

So Colin had this present waiting for him from Great Uncle Gary and Aunt Cathy when we got back to Arkansas. It's a cute push or ride lion. He was walking quickly across whole the room...until we got out the video camera! :) Then it was just a few steps!

White Christmas!

Mom and dad had snow, so we got our White Christmas and Colin got his first sled ride! Some by himself and some with aunt Katelyn! Thanks dad for pulling him around! We miss you already!

Christmas Eve and Grandpa's Toys

Ready for Christmas Eve service! Mom and dad had their traditional open house afterwards and then we opened most of our presents!
Katelyn played Christmas carols all week...and Colin helped. :)
One of Colin's favorite toys from Santa: bubbles!
And an oldie, but a goodie: my old three-wheeler!

Family Time

Colin and his grandpas on Christmas day.
Four generations.
My lovely sister. Colin actually naps when we are not in Texas.

I love this! He actually really liked my uncle Donald and is just yawning here, but he looks so funny! All of us on Christmas day at my Uncle Jesse's house.

Eating out with Jill, Janet, and David.

Funny Boy

Poor Nana couldn't get a picture of Colin on her cell phone because he kept chasing the camera. She backed up until she was against the tree and still he came after her!

So silly! He was perfectly happy until we decided to take the picture! Then he wanted down.
After the presents were opened, he was more interested in the tree than he had been all week. He really liked the ribbons.

Nursing Home Visit

We went to visit Katelyn's "old people" at the nursing home she worked at this summer. They always really enjoy seeing Colin! One of the ladies insisted we let him play with a doll she had. She just "wanted to see what he would do". She didn't seem to care that he would most likely just stick it in his mouth or remove the hat. After he seemed to like it, she had us put him on her bed and play with it for a while. LOL. It really made her day!

Bath Time at Grandpa's

Colin liked having a bigger audience for his splashing. We are still working on not standing up every time we get in for a bath though. Even totally busting his nugget does not dissuade him.
After he got taken out of his bath, he tried throwing his toys back in and using the step to get himself back in.

Presents!

I caught mom's favorite oven mitt on fire one evening while working on dinner, so Santa brought her a new "fireproof" one.
Colin was pretty good about not getting into all the presents, but he had a couple favorites he kept trying to get the bows off of.
He really likes curly ribbon. We even have some in the diaper bag for him to play with now. :) Aunt Katelyn got Colin a cool toy that shoots balls out the top!

Power Crawling with Daddy

Train Ride

We went to Ft. Smith to ride the train through the Christmas lights in the park. I think Colin enjoyed it, but it was definitely chilly. It's an open train, so I'm afraid next year we will have to consider tying him down!

Great Grandpa Joe

Colin is fascinated with his great grandpa Joe! He gets to fly and bounce and sneak bites of supper before it's ready and do all manner of things when he is around. There have been promises of fishing trips next year filled with Little Debbies and Red Pop. We'll see!

Arkansas Weekend

Colin ready for church this morning. This is the best shot of his cute little suit I found yesterday. he was NOT into holding still. He had fun in the nursery this morning and ate yogurt melts for them and crawled around on the floor and played. One of the ladies who watched him this morning also watched Michael and Jon when they were little! :)
Just before we left Texas, Colin got two new toys from his girlfriends: this one is from Lily and Lauren said it reminded them of Colin. I can't imagine why a monkey yelling "whee" would do that. Lauren thought it would be the same sound Colin made right after saying "hey mom" and just before jumping out of his first tree. Probably.
Second toy: from Brenna and Natalie. He loves this and it made the toy cut for coming to Arkansas with us. It goes around in circles and balls either spin around in the top or drop out the back. He quickly learned that he just has to press the yellow button on top to make it go.
Colin loves his pappa and was so excited to be here.
Tammy and Dennis brought Seth and Ava over yesterday afternoon. Ava is such a little mother and made sure Seth had a present before she opened hers. Seth didn't want Ava to eat the animal cookies Laura made though because he thought they should play with them and count them instead!

And a couple cute pictures from the trip up! :)
