Budding Artist?

We spent the morning yesterday running boring errands, so after lunch it was time for some fun! Feeling inspired by the cloud being in front of the sun, we set up outside with markers and finger paint! You may note that I am also filling the pool in these first pictures. That's for the clean-up part of the day! :)Eventually even the diaper came off, so he could get in and out of the pool. This picture cracks me up!
Then of course after he was done with the markers and paint, he had to get his chalk out and draw all over the rest of the patio. :)
I have been trying for weeks now to get a pic of him blowing water bubbles. This is the closest so far... My failure is due in part to Colin always wanting to see the camera and in part to my fear of getting it wet!We had so much fun together today!

For dinner, he helped me make sausage, biscuits, and gravy. Mom, the gravy wasn't as good as yours, but it was still tasty! You like our different takes on this ~ mine with the sausage broken up and Michael with his sausage on a biscuit with jelly (weirdo)?
