Happy 2nd Birthday Ryleigh!

Ryleigh's 2nd birthday party was this morning. Courtney had planned the most adorable ladybug picnic-themed party! She had so many cute things! Here are just a few of them. Notice the awesome ladybug holding a mini-cupcake for Ryleigh (more on the 'why' of that in a minute).
And Ryleigh's outfit was just precious!
Silly sunglasses were part of the theme too - cool dude in his shades...
Courtney had found probably every ladybug book ever written to have at the party!
The slide was a big hit.
As were the pinwheels.
As many of them as we could get in one picture all day! LOL!

To avoid spit on the whole cake, Roo had her own cupcake with candles to blow out. It was really windy, so that helped! :)

Such a snuggly baby!

Oooh, bubbles!

He can climb on everything now...including his children's picnic table, which he climbed on top of a couple days ago to get his juice. Ug.
Wheeeeeeeee!
What a good daddy Miss Lily has!
My sweetie!
I think this is the first time we've had a shot of all four of us together without any kiddos! Not half bad either! :)

Morning "Coffee"

Yummmm...Spaghetti!

Take careful note of the right nostril. We were laughing so hard we could barely get video; he kept looking back and forth between us and grinning. We debated whether to wipe his face or get the camera. You can see which we decided. Such outstanding parents!

12 Month Pictures

Here are his 12 month pictures:

Riverwalk and Alamo

After painting in the morning, we had lunch and spent the afternoon downtown at Riverwalk and the Alamo. Colin loved the ducks outside our restaurant and then along the rest of the Riverwalk.
Colin and mom matched today, so we had to get several pictures of them together.

David got some fantastic pictures while we were there. Check out his blog under "still life and urban" to see them.
And the future photographer:
Inside the Alamo compound. This is one of the coolest (temperature-wise) places to be here!

Finger Painting

At the request of my sister, Monday morning we finger painted! Everyone had a lot of fun!
Even Lily joined in this time!
What beautiful hands Brenna!

Ryleigh painted herself and the concrete more than her paper, but she still ended up with a couple pictures to take home!

Then Ryleigh and Colin had to have a bath!

Busy Sunday

Sunday morning we got up to go to church - Colin lasted through most of the service in our laps.
Nana made his outfit - isn't it cute?!Then, after Bible Study, we went to La Cantera, the outdoor mall. We all played on the playground with Colin before lunch.
He really likes trying to climb up the slide!
And loves playing with David!

We went to PF Chang's for lunch and then the boys all went home while the girls shopped.
Colin had eggdrop soup, some beef and broccoli, some sesame chicken, and chocolate cake the waiter brought him for his birthday. What a big boy!
