On Monday, Michael had to go downtown by Riverwalk for a conference. Since Fiesta is going on, Colin and I decided to go with him to check it out. We watched a parade at the Alamo and the River Parade was that evening, so they were already setting up chairs. Wow. We talked about staying (and procured tickets even), but it was going to be so late and crowded, we ended up taking Colin home at the end of the evening.
People were going to be packed in like sardines. Look: Colin and I had a beautiful and peaceful afternoon though and I got some pretty shots of the downtown area. Here are some. Colin really does just love watching water and ducks. I found a place that had a short wall between him and the water (since most of the paths just go right up to the edge of the river) and just let him play for a while. After Michael was done, we met him for dinner before heading home!

Looks like you had a beautiful day and Colin gets cuter every day!
Looked like a fun day for you guys on the walk. I need to have a chat with Colin about DUCKS! Great shots of the bridges and buildings. Colin looks cute in Michael's hat.

Michael and I have been married for almost 14 years. We have two sons who keep us constantly entertained and busy. I started digital scrapbooking at the end of February '09 and designing that fall. It's not always easy to carve out the time for it as much as I'd like, but it's part of what keeps me sane!
