We hosted our first art day yesterday morning and it was SO much fun. The guys had the day off work too, so they got to join us! Our theme was school buses, and we painted a big cardboard bus with yellow paint. Colin also painted his feet yellow.
Colin: director of operations (though I'm not sure anyone was listening to him).
We also colored and (the bigger kids) cut out school bus shapes.
I decided to do a super-sugary treat for the snack today. It was just too cute to pass up! For some reason, Seth insisted my bus have three windows and three wheels...leaving very little room for my poor bus driver! :)
James made a short bus!
All the kids really seemed to enjoy the tasty treats!
All in all it was a very fun way to spend a morning with our friends! Next time our theme is going to be apples and we'll be bringing out the glue!
