We met Mary, Emma, and Conner at a different library than our normal one for their story time this morning. Colin loved all the songs they sang and even did a pretty good job with the actions and following directions there. When the inside portion was done, all the kids went outside to blow bubbles. Here's Colin running gleefully to me with his bubble wand.

He very carefully watched how Emma was doing it.

She's really good and was getting bubbles most of the time!

Colin would totally guffaw whenever she'd make some come out. He is a much less skilled bubble-blower at the moment.

Bless his heart, he was blowing so hard, but you can see the bubble solution dripping off. I tried and tried to show him how to hold it, but he just insists on only blowing on a plane parallel to the wand, not through the opening.

When we got back inside to look for books, Colin did one of my favorite things. The first book we decided to take home, he took from me, sat down in the middle of the row, opened it up and started talking about the pictures. I just find this absolutely endearing!

Love that little guy!
