Mom came down this week to give us a hand with Colin. We got to do a couple fun things while she was here. Thursday I decided I needed to do some walking around, so we headed to the zoo for a couple hours in the morning. We all definitely had a fun time! Mom and Colin, watching the monkeys eat their "salad". Colin also ate a banana while we sat here. Colin was asking to have this butterfly on his arm, but I never managed to get it there. It just sat on my arm the whole time we were in the butterfly house! Mom had a butterfly friend too:On Friday morning we met our friends at the Children's Museum downtown. They always have lots of fun things to do and yesterday we even got to paint and play with playdough during the preschool activity hour. Colin's face in this first picture cracks me up!
He's gotten bossy about what he wants me to make out of playdough, but when it's his turn he is mostly just interested in "mashing" and "squashing" it.
Friday afternoon, Michael and I were able to get an early peek at the airshow taking place over the weekend. It was kind of cool getting to look through the planes with mostly just pilots and their families. Michael's squadron works with a lot of them and they were nice enough to invite us out while they were setting things up. Here are a few pics of Here is mom reading to Colin before she got on the plane today: Colin found the dregs of my hot chocolate this morning after Nana left and promptly snagged it and ran off to drink, saying "momma's coffee, momma's coffee, more please"! He was so cute we had to snap a pic before cleaning him up. :) Have a good night!

10-23-10: "Dad, I want to watch a movie." "What makes you think it's movie time?" "For the Bible tells me so." "Um, I really doubt the Bible says that."
7-2-10: 6:30 am tromps downstairs..."Mom, I want ice cream for breakfast, but dad said 'no'."
6-25-10: "Canola (granola) bar starts with 'c' just like Colin and cat and camel." Um, not exactly, but right idea...lol! Mmmm, yummy canola bars.
6-16-10: While picking peaches, "Colin, Colin, look. Look over there. Do you see the big rabbit?!" "Mama, that a hare." And he was almost certainly right.
5-16-10: Colin crying at Michael and I. "You're a joy, Colin.""I a NOT a joy!"Michael and I laugh, "I know sweetie, mama was being sarcastic anyay.""Mama, dada, no laughing at me! I a NOT a joy!!!"Michael and I laugh harder...

3-5-10: Nana walks in to get Colin after he woke up (~5:45 am). "What a Nana hair do?!"
Michael and I have been married for almost 14 years. We have two sons who keep us constantly entertained and busy. I started digital scrapbooking at the end of February '09 and designing that fall. It's not always easy to carve out the time for it as much as I'd like, but it's part of what keeps me sane!

All the pictures are so cute. I love the ones of Colin but the one of you with the gun on the plane is so "SEAL WOMAN" :-)
