Nana Visits

Mom came down this week to give us a hand with Colin. We got to do a couple fun things while she was here. Thursday I decided I needed to do some walking around, so we headed to the zoo for a couple hours in the morning. We all definitely had a fun time!

Colin was asking to have this butterfly on his arm, but I never managed to get it there. It just sat on my arm the whole time we were in the butterfly house!
Mom had a butterfly friend too:On Friday morning we met our friends at the Children's Museum downtown. They always have lots of fun things to do and yesterday we even got to paint and play with playdough during the preschool activity hour. Colin's face in this first picture cracks me up!

He's gotten bossy about what he wants me to make out of playdough, but when it's his turn he is mostly just interested in "mashing" and "squashing" it.

Friday afternoon, Michael and I were able to get an early peek at the airshow taking place over the weekend. It was kind of cool getting to look through the planes with mostly just pilots and their families. Michael's squadron works with a lot of them and they were nice enough to invite us out while they were setting things up. Here are a few pics of

Colin found the dregs of my hot chocolate this morning after Nana left and promptly snagged it and ran off to drink, saying "momma's coffee, momma's coffee, more please"!
He was so cute we had to snap a pic before cleaning him up. :)
