Once everyone was out of bed, we had a big breakfast and opened presents. Although there was breakfast casserole and cinnamon bread, Colin's favorite breakfast food right now is oatmeal and he usually asks for it as soon as he wakes up and eats two bowlfuls. Here he is diving into the second bowl this morning.
Colin got Michael some videos they can watch together (in case you didn't know, Michael loves Peanuts!).
It was an electronics-themed birthday this year, with new webcams and graphics cards on the list. :) Exciting, eh?
Michael spent part of this morning giving Colin rides around the house in the wagon. Colin made himself a nice cushy seat of two-high balls and balloons. Impressive, but we wouldn't let him ride this way, which upset him!
In related not-letting-your-kids-seriously-injure-themselves news, Colin got a nasty black eye this morning that at first had us wondering if we would be taking a birthday trip to the ER. He is okay though and I will try to post a pic and the full story tomorrow. :)This evening we had some friends over for pizza and cake. Overall I think (hope) Michael had a nice relaxing day at home! Happy birthday!

Ah... my cute birthday boy! Seems like just yesterday Michael was Colin's size and age. Wow, I guess since Michael and Jon are 31 that makes me.....a little over 40 now! HA
I hate when little boys get black eyes. So glad you didn't have to make the ER run on Michael's BD.
So cute!!! Looks like Michael had a great b-day. Colin is getting so big. Sorry to hear about the black eye. Poor baby!
