So my parents got Colin a Radio Flyer for Texas (unlike the Radio Flyer Michael's parents got him for Arkansas) for Christmas, :) but he's had so much fun using the box as a jungle gym that we have been reluctant to actually put it together. Not to mention that the wind has made family walks less pleasant than normal. We finally broke down Saturday afternoon and assembled it. Colin loved helping!
He and Percy took a quick cruise around the house before we tried it around the block. They were both great...inside.
Once we got outside, Colin decided it would be way more fun to use his arms to balance on the rails and "surfboard" in his wagon. After about the hundredth stop to tell him to SIT, he toppled out headfirst doing a front flip onto the sidewalk! My heart dropped. He cried for a minute and had a bump and bruise for a couple hours, but by Saturday evening you couldn't even tell. I thought his whole head was going to be black. I cannot believe how quickly he heals!
