We went out to Lake Fort Smith today to take Colin on his first boat ride and fishin' trip. He loved playing in the water while we were waiting to get on Grandpa Joe's boat.
Leaving the dock. He was bouncing up and down giggling for the first several minutes!
He only tolerated the lifejacket for a while. We took it off once we got to where we were going to fish. Unfortunately next time he'll probably be up and moving around and will have to wear it the whole time.
He was more interested in looking around than helping me!
He really liked to help whoever was at the wheel!
He had his first boat lunch, but it had to be squash instead of the more traditional Little Debbies and Red Pop. Maybe next time...

I caught a bass very soon after getting out there. They kept a little over half a dozen crappie in all.
