In preparation for the inevitable storms that will accompany Ike, we cut down the banana trees that were taller than the fence and moved all the lawn furniture into the garage.
In case you are unaware, banana trees grow quickly, so it was no big deal to whack them all down. Here is a picture I took literally 10 minutes after making the cut.
I also wanted to get a couple shots of flowers from the garden before everything gets beaten to shreds (again).
