So it has been slow going, getting Colin eating solid foods. He seems to generally like the things we let him taste off our plates - from nectarines to spaghetti sauce. He considered the butternut squash we first gave him.

And then decided he hated it and we were torturing him.

The applesauce was okay, especially once he was in charge of putting it in his own mouth. This independence seems to be a theme with him.

He really likes pears and grabs the spoon and shoves it in his mouth (then won't let go so it can be refilled). Yesterday he started eating carrots as well (but definitely prefers them when mixed with pears).

Mostly though he just prefers to play with his toys when he's in his booster seat!
