Laugh Out Loud Funny!

This had Michael and I both actually running from the room to laugh, so I had to share! :)
He had not protested the nap I laid him down for just a little bit ago, so I assumed he was still in his bed (with all his clothes on). I was wrong.

Paint and Gingerbread - but at different tables!

Well, this morning was another fun art day. Last night we brought the kid picnic table inside to let it warm up and Colin and I decided to make an impromptu fort with it tipped on its side. He even got to play on it a little this morning before the first of our friends arrived!
Lily dug right in to the painting this time ~ way to go girlie!
I think this should be Lily's audition portrait for the next vampire sequel, don't you?
After the painting, we made gingerbread houses. Colin quickly "decorated" and then consumed his graham cracker...no waiting for him for the house to be made.
Lily also thoroughly enjoyed the goodies.
How cute is she?!?!
And this little sweetie melts my heart absolutely every time I see her!!!
Check this cutie out. He's gonna be a heartbreaker!
Lily kept trying to sneak bites when no one was looking, but I got photographic evidence! :)
And our masterpieces; drumroll please...
And the non-edibles that didn't get taken home. And Colin's bell. I think he did a pretty good job with the glitter, actually!Tonight is Michael's squadron party, so hopefully I'll have some pictures of that up tomorrow!

Post-Thanksgiving Fun

We enjoyed the rest of the weekend Joe and Laura were able to spend with us. On Friday night, Michael and Joe put together Colin's Christmas present from Oma and Papa: a spring horse!
Sort of gives new meaning to headless horse man...
When Colin awoke Saturday morning, the horse was waiting for him to find!
He loves to ride his new horse!
Later that day, Colin and Papa spent a lot of time watching and playing football. Colin got very good at running for touchdowns and tackling Papa.
If you look past the dirty shirt, you can see how Colin decided to make up for not having any pockets for Oma's phone. He was totally perplexed when I called him from the other room!
Oma and Colin read lots of books while they were here too. Thanks Oma!
