Well, between morning sickness (which is thankfully more or less subsided), trying to unpack everything at the new house, and having Michael home less, the blog has kind of gotten put on the back burner. Here are a whole bunch of pictures to essentially catch ya up on our lives this fall. They're in reverse order - whoops - and largely unannotated!
I'll try to do better now that things are finally settling down! :) Christmas pictures and pictures from my sister's wedding to come soon!
In case you're one of the few people on earth who haven't heard yet, we're having a boy in March:

First snowfall; happened overnight, so Michael got to play with us a bit before going in to work:

I love my new telephoto lens - thanks to Michael - awesome birthday present!

You can kinda see the "bump" here. It really sort of exploded recently!

Mmmm, hot cocoa after playing in the snow. Colin has been insisting on having a straw with nearly every drink lately.

Reading books the night we arrived at Grandpa and Nana's for Christmas (yes, these are out of order!) Thanks to them though, I finally have time to catch up a bit on the blog!

Lit a fire for my birthday and made s'mores.

and decorated cookies

Colin has been helping me a LOT in the kitchen. Here he's making cranberry bread.

He's also learned to sneak food out of the pantry when we're not paying attention.

Thanksgiving dinner

Peeling potatoes for Thanksgiving

The parents came for Thanksgiving and helped us frame out and drywall the basement! Yay! Almost done with major work on the house. Carpeters will come when we get back for Christmas.

We also moved the crib/toddler bed into the nursery (I am IN LOVE) with the color. For some reason I can't find the pics of Colin in his new big boy bed....hmmm....

We also set up a tent in the living room while the parents were there. Here are Joe and Colin camping out!

and roasting hot dogs and making s'mores

Colin helping paint doors

Pretending to be a knight; this is his lance! Can't wait to have the horse in the basement on carpet, rather than hardwood.

Boy version of a tea party - Colin made sushi for Michael.

Michael's birthday; Colin made the cake and we went to a hibachi grill for dinner.

First day of preschool - he is going for a couple hours each week. I tried to get him to smile, but these were all I could come up with:

Owies:

Raking the massive piles of leaves this fall:

Playing with Natalie:

Being silly in Missouri:

Working in the back yard:

Learning to hammer:

Play date with the Hartlages:
